Privacy
Last updated October 20, 2026. HaulOnce (haulonce.com) is a free set of calculators. We collect as little as we can, and we never sell your information.
The short version
- No accounts, no sign-up, and no advertising cookies.
- Your measurements and calculations stay in your browser.
- We only store something when you choose to share a price you paid, and even then nothing that identifies you.
The calculators
Calculators run in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us. They are kept in the page address (the part after ?p=) so you can bookmark or share a plan.
Share links
When you share a plan, the link contains your inputs. When someone opens it, our server reads the link to build the preview image and summary, then sends them to the calculator. We do not save the plan. If you drew on the satellite map, the link includes the map position of your outlines, so anyone you send it to can see where the property is.
Address search and satellite maps
When you use the satellite map, your address search and the area of the map you view are sent to Mapbox, which returns the location and the imagery. We do not store your address. See Mapbox's privacy policy for how they handle it.
Price reports
If you choose to share what you paid, we store the material, price, unit, bag size or delivery fee, supplier type, project, and the first three digits of your ZIP code. We do not ask for or store your name, email, full ZIP code, or address. Reports are stored with our database provider, Supabase, and are used only to show local price medians once an area has at least five reports.
To stop abuse, we briefly use your IP address to limit how many reports can be sent in an hour. It is held in memory only and is not saved with your report.
Quote requests
We do not currently offer contractor quotes. If we add them, this policy will be updated first.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to count page views and measure how fast pages load. They do not use cookies and do not track you across other websites. We see totals, such as how many people visited a page, the country, and the type of device, not who you are.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard request information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
Your browser
We save your light or dark theme choice in your browser's local storage. That is the only thing we store on your device.
Advertising and affiliate links
We do not currently show ads or use affiliate links. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
Children
The site is meant for adults planning home projects. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Your choices
Everything except price reports stays in your browser, so clearing the page or your browser data removes it. Price reports contain nothing that identifies you, so we cannot match one to a person. If you believe something you sent should be removed, email us and we will help.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
